THE PASSING OF OUR MEMBER - Terry Crompton (Topcat)

Terry Crompton was born 1st March 1941 in England and migrated out to Australia when he was a small boy.

He passed away on 10th March 2010 after a long and terminal illness.
It was he request that we, The Glasshouse Mountains Branch, should ride to his favourite place, Bribie Island, and scatter his ashes.

Terry was affectionately known to Ulyssians as ‘Top Cat’or’TC’ and became the 27725th member to join our Great Club back in May 2002.
Topcat will be remembered as a friend and mate who believed in the Ulysses Motto of "Grow old Disgracefully" in fun and with his enthusiasm
for life & dedication to his genuine interest in people together with his welcoming attitude that he showed to all around him, by entertaining
us with his guitar, he always drew a crowd around to enjoy his stories, singalong, and generally cheering up ones day and life just by knowing him.

We so treasure our memories of Topcat's input - into making our Ulysses Events so successful, for we now will forever miss our mate.

We all had so many laughs, and the memories will always be there Top Cat - and Top Cat – you will always be.

Topcat's memorial ride was attended by 33 bikes, 7 trikes, and 8 cars with approximately 70+ members and fellow riders present.
