THE PASSING OF OUR MEMBER - Michael Ling (Fossil)

Michael Ling (Fossil) was born in England, 18th June 1935, died in Peru, near San Francisco, at the top of the Amazon South America, on the 3rd December 2009.
He left for Lima on his birthday last year. His plans were to build a boat and live out the rest of his life in the Amazon Area. Michael, a member of Ulysses Club Inc. - Glasshouse Mountains Branch for around 8 years, was a Loner and very eccentric.
He will be remembered for riding his 50cc. Jog to the Mudgee AGM back in 2003, when, to some, it would have been a very daunting task.
He even received recognition from Old No.1 Stephen Dearnley for his effort.
