Farm Fantastic 2005

Again this year the Farm Fantastic has been a huge success, which the Farm Fantastic Committee recognize that,without our help in the smooth running of the car park,keeping the area clean, looking after the elderly in getting them back to their cars etc., the event would not have run as smoothly. At the debrief meeting the decision was made to involve the P.C.Y.C. in selling the tickets and checking them at the gates next year to make life easier for us.

The police and SES congratulate us on the professional way in which we looked after the car parking. A cheque of $2000.00 will be presented to our Branch tonight, with the dates 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd July next year to get in and have fun all over again.

To all who attended over the 5 day period give yourselves a pat on the back and let the other members know what they missed out on.

Also I take this oppotunity to especially thank Dawn our publican who joined with us to keep the Barbi going to feed us all. Glasshouse mtns. had 57 members at some stage of the weekend.

The photo was taken at the end of the event when Cyn & Coordinators from the 3 branches presented a certificate of appreciation to Gary from Garden City Hire who donated the marquee for us to spread out and relax during our breaks, lasst year and again this year. The BBQ lunch was donated by the Farm Fantastic Committee and much appreciated by all.
